Well... I’m pretty excited about the new presonus 32.4.2AI that is about to ship this summer! Finally a digital live mixer with analog feel and touch which let yourecord 32 channels with only a single click! The DIGITAL MIXINGDESKS, ROLAND VM SERIES, YAMAHA DIGITAL MIXERS, 32.4.2 has awesome features like Ipod/Ipad/Iphone remote controlling for both the complete mixer as well as the auxes. Search for more digital mixers? This way every musician can control their own monitor mix. So bye bye for the monitordesk (and monitor engineer!) Figure out how much money you can save by not having to hire the monitor guy anymore? What about the upcoming digital snake (a ethernet cable) or the wireless WIFI option that can correspond to the new Presonus PA-SPEAKERS. I'm not working for Presonus but I am REALLY satisfied with their products as they really bring you what you need in a day-to-day situation. Yamaha; WAKE UP!

Besides that: for rental companies who have coverbands as clients: You can make recordings of the 32 channel session without having to focus on more than one button: the record button. So that means; when the band had an awesome gig, you can sell them the demo the week after… for how much?  500$? 1000$?  Depends on your mixing skills ofcourse but the idea is simple: This StudioLive 32.4.2 will let you save and even earn extra money!

The Presonus StudioLive can help you with their acoustics software: when using the SMAART Spectrograph solution you can tweek the StudioLive by simply using a Laptop (the one you record the 32tracks with for instance) and send out white noise. The software indicates where the problems are and you simply alter the frequencies to a preferred level. It even straightens out the flaws your old speakers might have!

This, combined with awesome recording power, the many effects you can run simultaineously, the full 32 channel desk, without confusing layers, the 14 auxes and full Ipad/Iphone/Ipod integration for controlling all aspects of this incredible machine makes it a bargain! I dont think the Behringer X32 is as usable as the Presonus 32.4.2   The Presonus is all about fast workflow, added value for all people involved and great sound!
